Dental Veneers Baton Rouge

What veneers can correct
Dental veneers are extremely versatile. This technique brings amazing symmetry to the smile, by addressing:- Deep discoloration that does not respond to professional whitening.
- Enamel chips, cracks, pits, or bumps.
- Teeth that look too short, worn down, or have unusual shape.
- Gaps, uneven spacing, or minor misalignment.
Direct veneers
In dentistry, the term “direct” refers to treatments completed in the dentist’s office.
Direct veneers are coverings shaped from composite resin bonding material, adhered to the front (visible) surfaces of “smile teeth.” The material is shaded to match your smile or improve upon it. Minimal preparation of teeth is needed for bonding, so this is a conservative, economical, efficient procedure.
This is a two-visit procedure. Teeth are shaped by removing a small amount of surface enamel, to allow veneers to fit snugly and look natural. Impressions are taken and provided to the lab, along with precise measurements and shading information. Prepped teeth are protected with a temporary covering. You return to Cypress Dental in two to three weeks. Interim veneers are removed, teeth are laser-sanitized, and final veneers bonded into place.
Veneers have an advantage over porcelain crowns – much less tooth structure must be removed for this minimally invasive technique.

Indirect veneers
Indirect veneers are designed by Dr. LeJeune, and fabricated at an off-site dental laboratory. They are made of strong, lustrous porcelain or pressed ceramic for an unsurpassed esthetic that resists stains. This is a two-visit procedure.
