Kurt LeJeune, DDS

Dr. LeJeune has been caring for the smiles of friends and neighbors in the Baton Rouge area for more than 25 years. He is a Louisiana native, hailing from Jennings. He was a member of the Kappa Sigma fraternity at McNeese State University, graduating in 1985. Dr. LeJeune earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Louisiana State University School of Family dentistry in 1989.

His learning did not stop there. Dr. LeJeune initially focused continuing education efforts on cosmetic dentistry. With a keen interest in helping others feel as good as they look, he expanded his knowledge and skills in orthodontics and treatment of TMJ dysfunction, facial, head, and neck pain. In 2005, Dr. LeJeune earned fellowship status in the American Academy of Craniofacial Pain, and became a Diplomate of the American Board of Craniofacial Pain.

By the early 2000s, he was treating sleep disorders with dental techniques (oral appliance therapy), as well. Dr. LeJeune was one of the original dentists in the state to treat snoring and obstructive sleep apnea in this manner. In this rewarding area of practice, he works closely with physicians to help patients suffering debilitating sleep disorders find the best possible outcomes. The Doctor is a founding member of the Dental Organization for Sleep Apnea. He also maintains membership in the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine and the American Treating Academy of Sleep Medicine. In 2013 Dr. LeJeune became diplomate board certified in craniofacial dental sleep medicine by the American board of craniofacial dental sleep medicine. In 2017 Dr. LeJeune received his Diplomate Board Certification from The American Sleep and Breathing Academy.

Recognizing the essential role of biological implantology in the oral health of his patients, Dr. LeJeune became certified in the Z-Systems – placement of titanium-free dental implants. With a passion for providing comprehensive care, the Doctor became a member of the American Academy of Facial Esthetics. He is trained and certified in dermal filler injecting. Dr. LeJeune is one of only a small percentage of dentists certified in Dr. Bob Marshal’s Premier Research Amalgam Removal Protocol, for safe removal of mercury dental fillings.

Gina was born and raised in Oxford, Ms. She received her degree in Biology from the University of Mississippi in Oxford, Mississippi, and her Dental Hygiene Degree from the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson, Mississippi.

Gina has been a member of our team since 2017. She is particularly excited about our commitment to our patient's Oral, Body, and Mind Connection. (total body approach to complete health). Gina and her husband, James, live in Baton Rouge. She enjoys Family, Fitness, Hiking, Golf, and College Sports.
